Bath & Body Works NEW Waikiki Beach Coconut Milk Body Scrub Review & Demo

I am so excited about the NEW Waikiki Beach Coconut Milk Body Scrub. This pressed white coconut meat and cane sugar scrub is amazing!

What’s to love?

First up the packaging on the new Bath & Body Works line is so cute. It looks like vintage beachy postage stamps and has a very retro feel.

The Waikiki Beach Coconut Milk Body Scrub smells so good too. The scent includes  beach coconut, pink passionflower, saltwater breeze, fresh bamboo & sun-bleached woods. To me it smells sweet (but not too sweet) with a beach floral undertone.

The exfoliation is light to medium and super creamy and it gives off some nice fluffy moisturizing bubbles and my skin felt fresh and smooth after I used it. I think this is my new favorite sugar scrub for Spring!

Price: $16.50

Bath & Body Works Mint To Be Body Scrub Review

I think I found my all time favorite Bath & Body Works product with the Bath & Body Works Mint To Be Body Scrub. It’s a pure mint sugar scrub with heavy exfolitaion. I ended up getting 4 of these during the Buy 3, Get 4 sale.

What’s to love?

This sugar scrub has extremely large crystals that feel amazing on my skin and they melt into a smooth and creamy lather. The scent is perfect too. It’s pure peppermint oil with no other scents mixed in which I love. I don’t tend to love mint with florals or musky scents. Just give me a pure mint!

This formula also feels amazing on my feet and leaves them smooth and minty! Did I mention how much I love this mint scent : )

The scrub has Cocoa Butter, Shea Butter and Pure Honey ands it’s supposed to moisturize, replenish, soften and smooth. I tried it on my had it it made my skin very soft.

Tree Hut Passion Fruit & Guava Shea Sugar Scrub Review

Last Summer I reviewed the Tree Hut Shea Sugar Scrubs in Original Shea and Pomegranate Acai and I love these scrubs so much I also picked up the Passion Fruit & Guava variety today at Ulta. I’m calling today Sugar Scrub Sunday!

What’s to love?

I’ve been using the Tree Hut Shea Sugar Scrub for about 5 years now and it’s definitely a favorite beside the Bath & Body Works Sugar Scrubs.

The sugar in this scrub is definitely a pretty strong exfoliant, but it moisturizes too. I love using it on my feet and elbows although I have used it on my entire body. It rinses clean and has very little lather to it.

This Passion Fruit & Guava Shea Sugar Scrub smells amazing. There are notes of passion fruit, guava, evening primrose and citrus. I literally smell like I just got home from Hawaii (I wish). It’s got a wonderful fruity smell that lasts after you get out of the shower too. I’ve had many people compliment me on the scent.

Tree Hut uses Certified Organic Shea Butter. It’s also Made in the USA and Not Tested on Animals. It’s also a great price. I paid $7.69 at Ulta at they seem to always have sale.

The other scents are Brazilian Nut, Coconut Lime, Original Shea, Hawaiian Kukui, Tropical Mango, and Pomegranate Acai.

Check out my YouTube review and demo too!

DIY Hack! Yep…I also use this one to clean my bathroom. It scrubs great and leaves the tub smelling so good.

Bath & Body Works Moonlight Path Foaming Sugar Scrub Review

Today I picked up the Bath & Body Works Moonlight Path Foaming Sugar Scrub because I wanted to try one of the new foaming sugar scrubs which come in over 10 scents.

ss.jpg

What’s to love?

I’m not usually a floral fan but Moonlight Path is my moms favorite scent so I thought I’d give it a try because we’ll be sharing this product.

The formula is a pretty purple/blue with huge sugar crystals. The sugar crystals are larger then the crystals in the Bath & Body Works Golden Sugar Scrub but they quickly melt into a beautiful soft lather when you rub them in a circle on your skin. I was really impressed with how nice the lather was. Sometimes you don’t get a good lather with a sugar or salt scrub.

The exfoliation factor was a 10 for me. I used this product on my legs and they felt silky smooth. The foaming sugar scrub does have Vitamin E and Sunflower Oil to moisturize skin.

I was also super surprised that the scent was light. I was worried it would be overpowering but it was perfect, just a hint of floral. My mom loved it. I think next time I want to try the Warm Vanilla Sugar scent.

Sugar Scrub DIY Hack – I also use the Bath & Body Works Sugar Scrubs to clean my tub and shower walls. The sugar crystals work on soap scum and it leaves the bathroom smelling amazing.

Price: $16.50 (but don’t forget the sales and coupons).

Bath & Body Works Golden Sugar Scrub Review

This week I picked up the Bath & Body Works Warm Vanilla Sugar Golden Sugar Scrub because it’s one of my favorites and I’m on a major sugar scrub kick!

What’s to love?

Bath & Body Works is one of my favorite places for Sugar Scrubs. I go nuts over the holidays and now with their Semi-Annual Sale I think I’m stocked up for the family.

The Golden Sugar Scrubs are some of my favorites and they come in Warm Vanilla Sugar, Moonlight Path, Japanese Cherry Blossom and Sweet Pea. There might be a few more floating around out there but Warm Vanilla Sugar is my favorite.

The formula has “naturally exfoliating sugar crystals, nourishing apricot and almond oils” which exfoliate and moisturize my skin so well. This formula is super thick too (I’m not a fan of runny scrubs) so this one is perfect for me. It’s also got a beautiful golden color that’s so pretty, no sparkles in this one though.

The scrubs are so easy to use. Just added water and rub. I love using this one my elbows and feet. I never use these on my face.

I also love that they safety seal these tubes. I’m such a germaphobe and that seal makes me feel so much better! I wish all beauty products were sealed.

Bath & Body Works products are Made in the USA and they are not tested on animals.

Bath & Body Works Sugar Plum Swirl Review

I think I’m finally done with my Bath & Body Works shopping for Christmas. My latest finds are from the Sugar Plum Swirl line.

What’s to love?

The Sugar Plum Swirl scent comes in the Shower Gel, Body Lotion, Fine Fragrance Mist, Ultra Shea Body Cream, Shea & Sparkle Scrub. I got the Body Cream and the Sparkle Scrub which is a beautiful blue shade with major sparkle.

I love that Bath & Body Works has another scent that isn’t traditional red, green and peppermint scented. Sugar Plum Swirl is a wonderful mix of fruits that include plum, tangerine, grapefruit, pear, nectarine and lots of sweetness. I love this scent!

The body cream is a great moisturizer and I’ve been using the sugar scrub now for a dew weeks and it’s done wonders for my skin. I hope they bring this back in the Spring with new scents.

Overall Sugar Plum Swirl is one of my fruity favorites!

Tree Hut Shea Sugar Scrub Review

Today I got to Ulta and stocked up on one of my favorite sugar scrubs with Tree Hut Shea Sugar Scrubs in Original Shea and Pomegranate Acai.

I’ve been using Tree Hut for about 5 years now and love their products which are Made in the USA and not tested on animals. They do however contain fragrance, but it’s not stated whether it’s natural or not. I think both products smell really good.

What I love about Tree Hut Shea Sugar Scrub in Original Shea.

shea.jpg

I love using the Tree Hut Sugar Scrubs after being at the beach. These scrubs are perfect for removing sun screen and beach grime (which I hate). The Original Shea has an awesome buttery almond scent with a hint of caramel. It also contains macadamia nut oil. While the product feels super gritty to the touch it melts quickly upon application and leaves your skin super soft and refreshed.

What I love about Tree Hut Shea Sugar Scrub in Pomegranate Acai.

acai

I love that the Pomegranate Acai version has a much lighter floral scent but it’s in no way overpowering or chemically. It smells super sweet and luscious. This white formula has tiny purple flecks in it. I’m not sure if they are seeds or beads.

Here are both scrubs on my arms Pomegranate Acai and then Original Shea.

I use the Tree Hut scrubs a few times per week in the Summer and my skin really glows.
