I’m on an 80’s kick today so my Sephora haul included the Urban Decay Shadow Box palette. This 5″ x 3″ palette contains 12 super hot Urban Decay shades. I love the art work on this palette. It’s classic UD with black and purple orchids on the case.
What you get…
12 3/4″ x 1/2″ shades including Sin, Indo, Bordello, Tornado, Smog, Blackout, Flash, Mushroom, Lost, Freelove, Moonshadow and Baked Cowboy.
Why I love the Urban Decay Shadow Box Palette.
I don’t tend to wear the bright colors (like blue and green) on a daily basis so getting 12 amazing colors in a $34 palette which comes to $2.83 per shade works great for me.
The shadow itself is a high quality packed powder that goes on easily with a medium brush. The shades are very blendable and compatible with each other. I like combining Flash (bright iridescent purple shimmer, Tornado (vibrant deep purple shimmer) and Sin (champagne shimmer) for a nice daytime look. Mushroom (warm gray shimmer) and Bordello (pale mauve shimmer/gold micro-glitter) blend great for evening.
Fast FAQ’s
- Tornado is from the Wizard of Oz Glinda Palette.
- Baked Cowboy, Indo and Moonshadow are new shades.
- Smog is my favorite stand alone shade.
This palette is also formulated without Parabens.
So if you’re looking for a high-quality light weight palette this is your box!
Pretty! I love the peachy shade at the bottom! 🙂

Me too! That’s a nice one for daytime.
Freelove (I think that’s what the name says) is such a gorgeous looking color! Fab post!
