There was an NYX Butter Lipstick in my Target Beauty Box this month and I was pretty excited to try it out. Unfortunately it was a “meh” for me.

Why this wasn’t for me.

This my third NYX product. I loved the Ombre Lip Duo and the Jumbo Eye Pencil but this product didn’t impress me much.

First off, this isn’t my color at all. It’s basically a fleshy orange and looked completely washed out on my lips. So I would be willing to try another shade to see if I change my mind.

I also felt like the quality of the product was on the low end. There were air bubbles and a mold crease in the center and the texture didn’t feel at all buttery to me. It felt more like a cream, but it didn’t blend well on my lips.

On the plus side there is zero scent which I liked.

So while I didn’t like this product I’m excited to try more NYX products in the future. I think they are a great drugstore brand but there’s bound to be some hit or miss.

I was wondering if you could do a review of pro lip cream palette . I’ve heard great reviews for that product 🙂 BTW great review 🙂

they have good nyx soft matte creams, you should try them, those work way ebtter! i did a review on 4 of them that i own, check it out, u might find it helpful!
ive never tired this line of theirs, but don’t think i want to now!
