This is the first time I have tried a lip scrub and the Indi Beauty Buttercream Antioxidant Lip Scrub is really nice! I got this one in my October Ipsy Bag.
What’s to love?
The smell of this Lip Scrub is the first thing that won me over, it literally smells like vanilla frosting. It’s also got a very small ingredient list that is Gluten Free. The ingredients include Organic Sugar, Shea Butter, Sweet Almond Oil, Beeswax, Avocado Oil, Vitamin E Oil, Buttercream Flavoring and Sweetener. Although I can’t find anywhere if it’s edible. I’ve heard the Jeffree Star Lip Scrubs are edible.
This product is super easy to use. I just scooped some up with my finger and gently rubbed my lips. I could taste the sweetness while I was rubbing. The sugar crystals aren’t super hard and after I rubbed the product in I wiped away with a tissue. I do think my lips felt more moisturized and soft. It felt like I had applied lip balm after I wiped it off.
I do love body sugar scrubs and this lip version is really nice, I plan on using this one regularly.
Price: $11.99
This sounds great☺ x
Lip scrubs are so important this time of year with the cold weather and all the matte lipsticks.
True! Those matte lipsticks are drying!
