Revlon Insta-Blush Review

When I was at Ulta yesterday I also picked up the new Revlon Insta-Blush stick. I have quite a few of these blush/highlighter sticks and I use them on a daily basis.

What’s to love?

To me these sticks are such a convenience and so easy to use. The Revlon Insta-Blush comes in 4 colors including Nude Kiss, Candy Kiss, Rose Gold Kiss and Berry Kiss which is the one I bought.

The stick is a matte finish that feels very dry and smooth, almost like a powder after I applied it which is interesting because after I tried it I did read that it’s a “cream-to-powder formula”, which I found to be true.

The pigmentation I’d say is medium, it gives what I’d call a more translucent finish which is what I want in a blush and it’s very blendable. I could also see using the Rose Gold Kiss shade as a highlighter.

The packaging is nice with a clear top and twist-up design and it has a light clay scent that does not bother me. It’s made in the USA.

Overall I am pretty impressed with this product. I love how dry it feels. I actually have a high-end blush stick that feels more greasy which I don’t like as much.

Price: $12.99

Is it easy to blend? I always have issues with cream blush.

It is. I don’t feel like this is a true cream, it does kind of turn into a powder which I found easy to blend.

This is a pretty shade! Cream products are just hard to work with! xx, Britta & Carli from http://twinspiration.co/

This sounds like a great formula – I find a lot of cream blushers too greasy and don’t dry down. Then my hair sticks to my cheeks!

ha! That happens to me too.

When I use cream blushes it moves my foundation. Did you use your fingers or a brush to blend out this product?

I actually used my fingers. I used a powder foundation with it and everything stayed in place : )
