Lush Shine So Bright Split End Treatment Review

I think the Lush Shine So Bright Split End Treatment is one product that I really needed yet I had no idea it even existed. When I was at Lush yesterday my mom picked up this tiny tin and said “this looks interesting”, so I picked one up…and wow!

Inside this little tin is a hair balm that works to improve split ends and it also tames fly-away hair which I definitely have.

What’s to love?

The Shine So Bright hair balm is so simple to use. I just rub my fingers in the pot and then run them down the ends of my hair to get the product on my hair.

Shine So Bright is made from extra virgin coconut oil, olive oil, Shea butter and it’s even got fresh free range eggs to nourish and strengthen hair. The scent comes from orange flower, grapefruit, neroli and rosewood perfume. It smells so good to me, it smells citrusy and a bit earthy.

What I really love about this formula is that it does not make my hair greasy. It just tames my crazy locks and makes my hair smooth and shiny. I have not used it long enough to see how it works on split-ends long term but I’m happy to use this every day to find out.

The biggest comparison I have is the Aveda Control Paste which I love too. The Aveda Control Paste feels dryer while Shine So Bright feels like it has more oils in it.

Overall I am super impressed with this little pot of hair balm and I’m so glad I found it at Lush. This is one of the advantages of going into a Lush store. You get to try out the products and find new ones that you didn’t know existed.

Price: $9.95

The Lush Shine So Bright is part of my February Favorites on YouTube!

  1. Looks interesting. Seems like it’s more of a “band aid” type product that only lasts until the next time you wash your hair. Only only true way to get rid of split ends is to cut them. Every other product out there claiming to “repair” split ends.. just a temporary fix.
