Urban Decay Heavy Metals Metallic Eyeshadow Palette Review

I just got the Urban Decay Heavy Metals Metallic Eyeshadow Palette and I am over the top thrilled with it.

First up the case is amazing. Tt’s a nice heavy purple metal and the palette slides out sideways. I find that it’s super easy to use and it does not stick or slide out on its own.

As for the palette you get 20 shades with a mirror in the center including:

GROUND (metallic black w/iridescent shimmer)
SPANDEX (metallic deep blue w/purple shift and blue micro-sparkle)
METALHEAD (metallic deep purple)
MULLET (metallic deep green)
TWISTED (metallic gold)

ALUMINUM (metallic warm gray-taupe w/iridescent micro-sparkle)
DIVE (metallic medium blue)
PUNK ROCK (metallic fuchsia)
AMP (metallic bright teal)
GLAMROCK (metallic silver)

BASS (metallic bronze)
DEMO (metallic bronze-rose)
AFTERPARTY (metallic red)
ROADIE (metallic burgundy)
SCREAM (metallic mauve)

GLORY (metallic golden bronze)
STARFIRE (metallic bright copper)
ANGELFIRE (metallic pale pink)
MAIDEN (metallic beige)
ACOUSTIC (metallic nude)

I am so in love with the metallic shades. I find them to be very pigmented and they look amazing on my over 40 eyes with no creasing or caking. I think this one just moved into my Top 5 palettes of all time!

As of today 12/15 the Urban Decay Heavy Metals Metallic Eyeshadow Palette is on sale for $39.
