Too Faced Rich & Dazzling Sparkling Lip Gloss Review

I am loving the Too Faced Rich & Dazzling Sparkling Lip Gloss that I received in my April Premium Boxycharm box! Rich & Dazzling comes in 13 shades with a price of $21!

Rich & Dazzling is a truly “rich” and thick formula that literally sparkles! I have the shade Hidden Talents which is a deep hot pinkish mauve tone. It has flecks of gold sparkle too which gives it a multi-dimensional appearance. It literally sparkles!

Hidden Talents is a pretty dark shade and not one I would wear everyday but it’s great for a special occasion or an evening ZOOM date! I’d love to get the clear sparkly Pant Off, Dance Off shade next.

The formula feels nice on my lips but is pretty thick and it has decent staying power for a lip gloss. I’m loving it!

The packaging also makes me feel like royalty with a pink cap and gold emblem. It looks so pretty on my make-up table!

Also be sure to check out my Boxycharm unboxing video as I try the Rich & Dazzling Lip Gloss on!

Too Faced Dew You Fresh Glow Luminous Face Primer Review

I just picked up the new Too Faced Dew You Fresh Glow Luminous Face Primer and I am loving it! This is going to be my new Summer favorite.

The Dew You Face Primer comes in 3 shades: Radiant Pearl, Radiant Nude and Radiant Carmel. I have the pearl shade. It’s super translucent.

What I love about this product is that it’s super moisturizing and it smells like watermelon and cucumber.

As described, Dew You is completely weightless. I hate wearing heavy products in the Summer and this one feels so refreshing on my face. I also found that it works so well under my make-up. I am a huge fan of the It Bye Bye Under Eye Waterproof Concealer and when I apply this concealer over the Dew You it feels amazing! No more tugging under my eyes, it just glides right on.

I would call the Too Faced Dew You a fresh primer that makes my skin feel light and refreshed and I love that I get a little bit of glow without a hard shimmer. I truly do feel luminous!

Too Faced Diamond Highlighter Review

I am a huge fan of highlighters for my cheek bones. I feel like it lightens my over 40 skin and gives me a bit of a glow. The Too Faced Diamond Highlighter is a new favorite of mine both in design and product.

The Too Faced Diamon Highlighter comes in 3 shades: Diamond Fire (which I have), Fancy Pink Diamond and Canary Diamond.

The packaging is amazing! The box looks like a ring box and the product is shaped like a gem. It’s a work of art!

According to Too Face the Highlighter is a — Prismatic highlighter infused with real crushed diamond powder and light-reflecting pearls for extra luxe sparkle

I love that I’m wearing diamonds on my face! At first I was worried that this highlighter might be too light but it’s just perfect. It give my skin a nice glow high up on my cheeks without looking too bright.

A little goes a long way and the pan is huge so I suspect this one will last awhile.

Price: $34

Too Faced La Creme Mystical Lipstick Fairy Tears Review

The Too Faced La Creme Mystical Lipstick Fairy Tears lipstick was calling my name in Sephora this past weekend and I’m so glad I got this fairy wonder.

This mystical lipstick is an incredible shade-shifter that just screams rainbows and unicorns. It also changes the color depending on body temperature. They Fairy Tears gives me a gorgeous bright pink shade that sparkles.

It also comes in…

  • La Crème – Unicorn Tears
  • La Crème – Mermaid Tears
  • La Crème – Angel Tears
  • La Crème – Fairy Tears

What’s to love?

The scent is described as a “signature sweet unicorn scent” and I would say that’s pretty accurate. It smells like sweet candy and that’s fine by me.

The lipstick itself is really high-quality cream with that appears yellow in the tube but it morphs into a bight pink on my lips. Fairy Tears has nice staying power and I got a lot of compliments — when I explain the magic of Fairy Tears everyone is in awe. The Holographic Purple/Lavender Mermaid Tears is next on my list.

Too Faced Glow Job Glitter Face Mask

I feel like 2018 is the year of Glitter and Too Faced has a hot product that they can’t keep in stock. The Too Faced Glow Job Glitter Peel Off Face Mask is pink and — well glittery! It’s also back in stock right now.

The pink glitter mask is infused with real gold and is supposed to exfoliate formula dull and tired skin. I love that it is a peel-off mask. The price is $42 for 1.7 oz.

I’m really thinking that I might need this one!

Too Faced Glitter Bomb? Oh Yeah!

Just when my beauty budget was getting under control the amazing people at Too Faced have to go and release Glitter Bomb!

I may be over 40 but I’m not even close to being immune to the lure of glitter. Oh and of course there are 3 shades of purple (my favorite eyeshadow color) that is further driving my need to get my hands on this palette!

In addition to the purples you also get 5 more glitter shades including 3 pinks a blue and a gold. You also get white and black matte bases to play with.

Being ruined by my 80’s past I’m pretty sure I’ll be digging out $45 so that I can adorn my eyes in glitter. Duran Duran concert here I come!

Too Faced Cat Eyes Palette Review

I really love the small Too Faced palettes in the tins. I have the Peanut Butter & Honey palette and the Country Palette and I really like both of them so when I saw that the Cat Eyes palette from 2014 was on sale for $18 from Too Faced I snatched it up!

ce2

What’t to love?

I love the retro 60’s/80’s vibe of the Cat Eyes palette. The colors are just gorgeous and the 3 dark shades can be worn wet or dry.

ces.jpg

From left to right you get: Tiger’s Eye (shimmer), Pussy Cat (shimmer) Kitty Glitter (this one is a light blue with white glitter), Leopard (glitter), Jungle Love (glitter) and Panther which is a matte black.

You also get 3 highlighter shade (I did not swatch these as they are so light) in Purr (shimmer), Meow (matte) and Kitten which is a pink shimmer shade.

I found these shades to be very pigmented and dark. They also blended so well. My favorite shades are the brown Tiger’s Eye and the purple Jungle Love. I do wish they had the classic chocolate Too Faced scent. I really prefer the food scented palettes, this one has no scent.

Overall I am thrilled with the colors and quality I got. I really like collecting these small Too Faced tins, the packaging is adorable with the leopard print with black, gold and pink.

Too Faced Peanut Butter & Honey Palette Review

I ordered the new Too Faced Peanut Butter & Honey Palette from Ulta and I’m thrilled with it. It’s in Ulta stores starting on March 19th.

What’s to love?

First up the packaging on the Too Faced eye palettes is so cute. I’m 47-years-old and love this design, it’s not just for teens and young adults.

The metal tin contains 9 shades including:

  • Creamed Honey (very pale peach)
  • Peanut Butter (matte medium orange brown)
  • Honey Brittle (matte peach)
  • Queen Bee (vanilla cream)
  • Bee Sweet (matte lightly peachy pink)
  • Honey Buns (matte honey yellow)
  • Feelin’ Nutty (matte caramel)
  • Going Nuts (bronzed mocha)
  • Bees Knees (burnt orange w/ gold sparkle)

Oh and the scent! This one smells like honey and peanut butter and it’s wonderful. I really do prefer palettes with a food scent.

The shades in this Peanut Butter & Honey Palette are so beautiful too. I’ve read some of the reviews that say they’re chalky but I didn’t have that experience although I had a hard time swatching them on my arm. I did find the colors to be very blendable and pigmented on my eyes.

tf9.jpg

My favorite shade is the sparkly brown Going Nuts shade which I’m wearing in the photo. I also added some Peanut Butter in the crease and a touch of the yellow Honey Buns. I also highlighted my eye with Queen Bee.

Overall I am very happy with this palette and now I want to pick up the original Too Faced Peanut Butter & Jelly palette.

Price: $36
