Urban Decay “Alice Through The Looking Glass” Lipstick Review

Today I ventured out to Sephora for some Urban Decay. I was on a mission to snag some Alice Through The Looking Glass lipstick and I scored big with Iracebeth which is a bright red matte shade.

Now I have to say that I rarely wear straight on red lipstick but when I saw this shade I really fell for it. The “Matte” finish is what really makes this look classy

Why I love Iracebeth.

First up, the Alice Through The Looking Glass collection is super smart and edgy for those of us (like me) who love the Alice in Wonderland saga. The branding is brilliant and the whole Alice Through The Looking Glass collection is equally gorgeous.

Now for the actually lipstick. Iracebeth is actually The Red Queen in the movie and so this shade is named for her. The shade is a true on red without maroon, purple or orange accents but in the matter finish you definitely get a softer shade than if this was a gloss.

The Iracebeth packaging.

The lipstick case cover is branded with the Alice Through The Looking Glass art which is a red rose pattern. The black lipstick holder is stamped with Urban Decay and the lipstick itself is stamped with UD.

Next up…I really want to try Mirana.

Here are all the shades that the Alice Through The Looking Glass series comes in.

  • Alice (sheer nude with pink shift)
  • Mad Hatter (bright purple shimmer)
  • Mirana (matte berry with tonal shimmer)
  • Iracebeth (bright red matte)
  • Time (gunmetal-navy with silver shimmer)
