Lush Dark Angels Face and Body Cleanser Review

My  new favorite go-to morning cleanser is Lush Dark Angels which has done wonders for my pores.

What is Lush Dark Angels?

Dark Angels is made from charcoal powder and is for people who have oily skin (which is me), but being that I’m not a teenager I don’t like using harsh oil stripers.

The product is Vegan and the price is $12.95 for 3.5 oz. One note is that it’s “Fresh Made” and expires in 2 months so I plan on buying the 3.5 oz. tub as I need it.

How to use Lush Dark Angels?

Now for the fun part! When you first open the tub you’ll see a large chunk of what looks like black Play-Doh covered in sugar, the scent is licorice (which I love).

To use you just grab about an inch sized pinch and place in the palm of your hand. Next add some water and knead into a black paste. It’s super easy to spread on your face and scrub, just be sure to wear a headband to avoid black hair.

I massage Dark Angels into my face for about 1 minute and wash off with a washcloth, again you washcloth is going to turn black so use a dark one.

You can also use this product in the shower (I haven’t yet) on your entire body.

Why I love Lush Dark Angels.

While I was initially a bit apprehensive about rubbing black Play-doh on my face it’s now one of my favorites.

I have really oily skin that needs constant attention so I have been using this product in the morning and evening. My pores are on the large side and Dark Angels has done a great job in reducing my pore size. My skin literally glows after using this product.

This one is on my keeper list!
