Too Faced Better Than Sex Waterproof Mascara Review

The Too Faced Better Than Sex Waterproof Mascara has gotten mixed review so when I got a sample in my Summer 2016 Beautycon Box I was happy to try it out.

What’s to love?

The beauty of this mascara really is in the brush which is like a fuzzy hourglass shaped caterpillar. One swipe and my lashes were fully covered.

I was super impressed with the application. It was so easy to apply and the brush made my lower lashes look amazing. I had zero clumping on the top or the bottom and I love the look. My lashes looked full, thick and natural.

The scent is light and not offensive at all. No heavy odor or anything which was good and I didn’t have any irritation at all.

The not so good.

Now for the not so good. I had read that this mascara is hard to get off which I expect with waterproof mascara but man this stuff did not budge. I used my Olay make-up remover clothes that usually rid me of everything but still no go. After 3 tries I have given up and just plan on wearing this mascara all day and possibly all night. My thought is that more might come off in the shower. So this is a big downfall for me. I may have permanent black lashes! At least they look good.

  1. Now I’m intrigued. I have the original formula and it didn’t work out so well for me. I think I would prefer the waterproof after reading your post. Thanks.

  2. I normally use a waterproof mascara, especially if it’s drugstore. Try the Clinique take the day off remover, best eye makeup/mascara remover I’ve ever tried! Might give this one a go though!
