Urban Decay Jean-Michael Basquiat Lipstick (and it’s on sale).

If you’ve been wanting to pick up something from the Urban Decay Jean-Michael Basquiat collection now is the time as it’s on sale now.

There are 3 shades of lipstick in the Urban Decay Jean-Michael Basquiat collection and they are now on sale at Sephora for $11.90 and I picked up Exhibition which is a pretty pink shade. The art on the tube is amazing too.

The shades are…

The “three exclusive shades of Vice Lipstick are based on the colors in Basquiat’s work” and I found the formula to be very pigmented and pretty. These are a cream.

The Jean-Michel Basquiat Gallery Blush Palette is also on sale for $23.80

Sephora online only has the 2 lipstick shades and the blush on sale right now so it looks like the collection is going fast!

Ulta online has also has the Jean-Michel Basquiat Gold Griot Eyeshadow Palette on sale for $27.30 and the Jean-Michel Basquiat 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil for $14.00.

Urban Decay Vice Big Bang Lipstick Review

I am a huge fan of the entire Urban Decay Vice lipstick line and today I want to show off one of the more fun colors. I got this as part of my The Urban Decay Full Frontal Reloaded Vice Lipstick Set and it’s a metallized hot pink shade that’s so pretty.

What’s to love?

The Urban Decay Vice line is one of my all-time favorite lipstick lines. It’s always got great pigmentation, staying power and it comes in 100+ shades.

The Big Bang shade is a beautiful glittery metallized hot pink that almost looks too pretty to wear. I was also worried that I might look a little too old to be wearing hot pink lipstick but I think I pulled it off. This shade also works great for layering on top of other shades.

On my lips the glitter is a little bit more subdued than it is in the tube. It actually looks more like a high gloss shine on my lips which is so pretty.

This is definitely one of my new favorite lipsticks shades.

I also have the Urban Decay metallized shade Amulet which is a beautiful copper shade.

Urban Decay All-Nighter Long Lasting Makeup Setting Spray Review

I am so glad I have finally got on board with setting spray. Back in the 80’s we didn’t have anything like this unless you accidentally sprayed your face with Aqua Net while doing your hair, then your make-up set like glue which was not a good look.

Luckily today there are so many amazing choices and now the Urban Decay All-Nighter Long Lasting Makeup Setting Spray is my favorite. However I have the old version in the white and purple bottle and I’m excited to get my hands on the new one.

What’s to love?

I had no idea how important setting spray was until I used it. Urban Decay is right on target when they say this formula is light weight. Once I sprayed it on I could not even tell it was there and it absolutely kept my make-up from melting off. I looked totally fresh all day.

I love that it’s oil-free and my face never looks greasy or shiny. All-Nighter is Made in the USA and is Paraben free too. I am definitely going to pick up a new bottle for $31.

I feel like I’ve seen the future and it’s using setting spray all the time!

The Sephora Favorites Give Me Some Nude Lip Set Is Perfect For Valentine’s Day!

Being a beauty addict I try to look for deals so that I can get the most beauty products for my money and I’ve found Value Sets to be one of the best ways to do this. I love shopping Sephora online and I did enroll in Sephora Flash to get free 2-day shipping for a year with no minimum purchase. I also get 3 free samples with every order.

Last week I ordered the new Sephora Favorites Give Me Some Nude Lip. You get 5 lipsticks and a lip liner with this set in a cute pink lip shaped box with black confetti.

The box contained…

Here are the swatches from top to bottom.

Urban Decay, Too Faced, Buxom, Bite, Marc Jacobs, Estee Lauder.

I really feel like this set was a deal at $28 ($88.00 value). The Urban Decay Lipstick is a full-sized product and the other 4 lipsticks are nice large sized samples that gave me a chance to try brands that I had never used before like Marc Jacobs.

I also can’t wait to try the Estée Edit The Barest Contour lip Liner, it looks like a very creamy and soft liner which I love.

This set would also make a really nice Valentine’s Day gift, I may pick up another one for my mom!

Urban Decay Vice Mini In Venom Review

I got an Urban Decay Vice Mini from Sepora for 100 points in Venom and it’s so adorable. As part of my beauty obsession I also like collecting unique packaging. This Vice mini has exactly the same gunmetal case as the full-sized only it’s tiny.

What’s to love?

The Urban Decay Vice Lipstick is one of my all time favorite lipsticks and it comes in over 100 shades including this one which is Venom and has a cream finish.

Venom is a deep, dark berry with a hit of purple and it has a very commanding look. It’s descried as “Bright Plum” which I would have to agree with and even though it’s a cream it has a slight gloss. It’s not a matte.

I would recommend a liner because it’s easy to goof up your top lip as you can see in the photo. The pigmentation is amazing too. This one has great staying power and it did leave a bit of a stain when I removed it which I don’t mind. This color is a bit dark for me as far as an everyday lipstick but I think it would look amazing for a nighttime party. It feels very goth to me.

I’m excited to add this “mini” to my collection!

Urban Decay Naked Illuminated Trio Review

I got the Urban Decay Naked Illuminated Trio for my 72-year0old mom for Christmas and she LOVES it.

udn

What’s to love?

I started my obsession with the Urban Decay Naked line when I got the Urban Decay Naked Smoky Eyeshadow Palette and now I’ve been trying to add more pieces to my collection. I ended up getting my mom this Naked Illuminated Trio for Christmas because she loves light sparkly nude shades and this one fits that bill!

You get Pyrite (gold- champaign), Oasis (marbled frosted taupe) and Twilight (iridescent pink) plus a really nice dual sided brush. I also love that you get a really nice mirror with this palette.

Each shade has major shimmer and goes on like air. You can use these as a bronzer, highlighter and blush or just add anywhere you need some shimmer. My mom loves that i makes her skin look brighter and younger. This is one of her favorite palettes!

I believe it’s mostly sold out now but you might still be able to find it at Ulta or Sephora stores for a good price.

Urban Decay Liquid Moondust Eyeshadow Review

I used my Urban Decay Rewards to get a discount on the Liquid Moondust Eyeshadow and I’m glad I did! This stuff is liquid glitter!

A little side note too. As soon as the temps get back over 30 degrees Im going back outside for my photos for better lighting. Right now it’s a -5 wind chill an I think my liquid glitter would freeze solid!

md

What’s to love?

The Urban Decay Liquid Moondust Eyeshadow is definitely a high quality product. It’s a new product that came out after the Moondust Eyeshadow Palette. There are 8 shades including Solstice (pink), Vega (bright blue), Spacetime (brown), Zodiac (green), Zap (dark gold), Recharged (coral/gold), Chem Trail (gold) and Magnetic (purple).

I had a hard time choosing between Magnetic and Recharged but finally went with Recharged because it has a nice two-tone of coral an gold. It is definitely iridescent.

ud2.jpg

The applicator is a tiny brush and it’s fairly easy to apply. However you have to remember that it is liquid glitter so it goes on a little different than powder. It takes each application about 20-30 second to dry and I use my finger to smudge it a little.

This product is buildable so you can add more than one coat for an even more glittery look. I am wearing two coats in the photo below and fee like this is a casual enough look for every day wear. It’s very pretty! I’m feeling very Rock Starish at the moment.

I did use the Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion as a base and I’m wearing the Too Faced Better Than Sex Waterproof Mascara.

I also feel like you could use this product as a highlighter. The glitter is super fine and it’s easy to blend with your finger.

Overall I’m super impressed with the Liquid Moondust and now I really want the purple shade! I do wish Urban Decay would come out with a mini set that included all 8 shades. Hint! Hint! for Christmas 2017.
